User - Access Key

The user cards grant easy and fast access to the bicycles. Based on RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology, the card allows for contactless communication with the SmartBike station.

As the user information is linked to the card, the system can easily identify the user and appoint him/her a SmartBike. RFID cards are widely used throughout society today allowing potential synergy with SmartBike cards. It is fully possible to combine other transport cards with the SmartBike user card, further facilitating and stimulating use of public transport.

As society and technology evolve, SmartBike continuously follows these developments and turns to the future picking up trends and searching for new ways to improve and broaden the service. New payment and communication technologies, such as extended credit card use, WAP, are already being taken into account and developed in order to offer the user full convenience.
